103. FIGHTING TIME (a quick look back):

I never really fought time but TIME was always fighting me - because youth was fading and it diminished in its own manner everything around me and I only sort-of knew it was happening while it happened but mostly did not because the tendency is for something like that to go by unannounced too - without fanfare and with little notice to the person it happens to until much later when one looks back and realizes all of what had passed already is gone and it 'ain't coming back' no way and the mark of a real person and a mature man (I suppose) is how he deals with that realization.
